We Can’t vs. Meet In vs. The Middle!

Hi! I have six children from a previous marriage: Vivian Gracie (18), Claudia Rose (16), Benedict Mark (15), Diana Claire (13), Antony William (13) & Janet Maria (10). Their nicknames are: Vivy, Dia, Ben, Anna, Tony & Jane. My husband, has three daughters from a previous marriage: Nevaeh Kennedy (14), Payton Riley (8) & Harlow Delaney (5). We clearly have different tastes in names. I am now expecting our first child (gender unknown) and we keep getting into arguments. For a girl, my husband wants to name her Berkly Madigan and for a boy he wants to name him Roarke Dillon. I despise both of these names. For a girl, I want to name her Juliette Evelyn (Julie) and for a boy I want to name him Joseph Oliver (Joey). I don’t think my names are bad but he hates them! We just can’t seem to meet in the middle! We need help! Thanks! ~Lily, John, Vivy, Dia, Ben, Anna, Tony, Jane, Nevaeh, Payton & Harlow!

I don’t know if you will go for this, but I love the name Blair. I think it can be elegant and modern at the same time. Blair Juliette would be beautiful!

For a boy, I think Dylan Oliver is really cute.

I would just mix it up, you pick the fn or mn and he picks the other.

I think its just a matter of taste, but I would have to disagree with you on that. All her children’s names are beautiful, and I LOVE Juliet Evelyn.
