Brinley/Brynley vs. Brinleigh/Brynleigh vs. Brinlee/Brynlee

I wanted to use the original spelling of Brinley. However I know some different spellings can be "gotten away with" like Chealsea being spelled Chelsey. Which spelling do you like?

Is this for a boy or girl?

To tell you the truth, IMO I think it would be best to come up with another name. I know people with non gender specific names and they don’t like being referred to as a man when they’re a woman or vice versa. Also, that’s a name your child will be spelling for people everyday for the rest of their life. I have a hard-to-spell last name, thank goodness my first name is easier. Anyway, I’m constantly spelling my name for people and getting annoying questions about it. I can imagine it would be much worse for a first name.

I like Brinley, Brynleigh, or Brynlee. But if I had to choose between the three, I would choose Brynlee. Good luck!

Thanks. I do feel that way. I was under the impression that Brinley was a female name, not at all unisex.

-leigh endings look completely awful.

Brinley looks the best and most timeless.
