Sophia for some reason I picture a young child..where as sophie I can see growing into an older child, teen, adult, etc. so my vote is the e over the a;)

Sophia nn Sophie.
Sophia is classy and will age well with her where I think Sophie makes a good nn. However Sophia may not go with your surname so keep that in mind though I bet you already are doing that.

I see Sophie as a nn for Sophia. Seems like naming your kid Nicky instead of Nicole nn Nicky.

I find the French spelling Sophie more appealing as it sounds more sweet, friendly and approachable. Sophia sounds like a stuck up prima donna. Sophie is also less popular than Sophia so that’s an added bonus. GL.

Why name her Sophia and call her Sophie? Doesn’t make sense to me. I love Sophie just the way it is. Sophie is like the friendly girl-next-door whereas Sophia seems a bit snobbish.
