Kaidence Michelle vs. Cadence Michelle vs. Kadence Michelle

Hi there. I’m almost to the end of my pregnancy (5 weeks to go) and I never found out the sex of my baby but I decided on the names for each. I just can’t decide on the spelling of Kaidence. My name starts with a C so I was leaning towards Cadence but everyone else likes it with a K better. Your opinions are greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

In my opinion misspelling a name either makes you look like you’re trying too hard to be cre8tive or it makes you look ignorant so I definitely think your instincts are right with Cadence!

Kaidence is actually the recognized spelling where I’m from. I know 4 and they’re all 4 spelled Kaidence so Cadence might actually get spelled wrong. But I’m still not sure which spelling. Thanks for the comment though. Its very much appreciated.

Cadence looks most girly to me. Kaidence looks like your trying hard to make it sound masculine. I say either Cadence or Kadence. But Cadence is going to get spelled right most of the time in my opinion.

Regardless of the fashion in your area, the name is actually a word - and the word is cadence:

ca·dence Noun/ˈkādns/

1. A modulation or inflection of the voice.

2. Such a modulation in reading aloud as implied by the structure and ordering of words and phrases in written text.

It’s a beautiful name, and I love it when spelled with a C.

My daughter’s name is Cadence, 14 months old. We used the C, hubby didn’t want to use the K, Kadence. I really liked both. I would have used the K, but really almost everyone I asked on here, liked the C spelling. So, between others opinions and my Hubby’s, we used Cadence spelling. I don’t like the spelling Kaidence at all, not even one I considered.

Cadence is the correct spelling. Don’t look like a Kardasian by misspelling it with the trendy "K". GL.

I agree Cadence is the correct spelling but I just like the letter "K" better I think its prettier. I DEF wouldnt go w/ Kaidence. Looks made up
