Alaris is the only one where you’ll get the pronunciation you want. The first two look like al-uh-reese. However, if there is a traditional spelling and it isn’t made up go with the original!

Alarise is the original but I was afraid of rise instead of riss at the end. Although reese sound is nice too, just dont want the rise sound.

I’m sorry, but this sounds too much like the allergy medicine Alarest. Something to consider...

Thanks for the concern. Are you sure its Alarest medicine? I had never heard of Alarest medicine and google didnt pull any matches.

I would never be able to pronounce the name the way it should be pronounced with any of the spellings. Instead of the Uh sound at the begining, I think most people will make a Al-uh sound. Sorry I am not much help! :(

I think most will pronouce it like Uh not Al
just like Alyssa. Its Uh-liss-uh not Al-issa.

Not having ever heard the name, or any of the spellings, my first reaction to the name was to pronouce it like Al-air-is. I see your point about people knowing how to pronounce Alyssa, but Alyssa is a fairly common name, while Alarise is not one you hear everyday. After knowing how to pronounce it, it is a pretty name.

For most people, after they hear it once, they will be able to pronounce it, it will just be a life time of maybe hearing "Al-air-is?" "No, Uh-lar-iss" Kinda silly I know, but my sister Callie grew up her whole life being called Cay-lee, and she would always have to say No, its Cal-lee, like California. It always kind of annoyed her.
Sorry I have rambled on!
