I’m the creator of this poll... would anyone’s opinion change if our first 3 children have ’K’ names?
Karo syrup was the first thing that came to mind for me as well, but she will be the odd guy out1 :(

If you must stick with K’s because of your other children, then I say go with a different name. It just doesn’t look right for Caroline to be spelled with a K, sorry! What about Kara or Kyra? Without knowing your other K names, I don’t know what else to suggest. But I definitely like Caroline with a C only, sorry!

Unless you live in a German-speaking country where Karoline is more common, go with Caroline.
And NO, do not go with K names for your first three children. 3 kids with K names...their initials would spell out KKK together. Not good.

That was my thought, find another name. Easier said then done. My husband is very picky and being a pain in the butt about it! LOL We don’t HAVE to stick with the K’s but it would be nice. This is our last baby so its not like we could throw in another non-K to even the score a little. hehe
Our other K’s are Kaily, Kelly (boy), and Katherine (Kate).

^^^Sorry I’m the OP again, I keep forgetting it doesn’t post your name automatically. We already have three kids with K’s so its not something we can change now. I listed their names above in the previous thread.
My husband and his father are Dutch, so Karoline would fit in that culture. But we live in the US, so obviously its not a common spelling here.

I’d use Karoline to match her siblings, and the heritage. My sister grew up as a Kassidy and didn’t care about saying "That’s Kassidy with a K". Some other ideas are Karalyn, Kalia, Katia, Kiersten (love this name!), Kristin, and Kristina/Krystina. Hope the helps!

Everyone loves it with a K. They always say it's a beautiful way of spelling it and that they love it. Stick with the culture. It would look weirder to spell something differently to fit in with the 'common' way, even though we're a global society. You wouldn't change a Japanese name spelling to 'fit in'. Besides, C is a useless letter. It's sound use varies too much (e.g. Celine)
