Lorena vs. Lenora
Which one do you like better? I’m having the hardest time, and it’s practically the same except switching the vowels! If you could, please state which one you like better and WHY. I was thinking about Violet or Margaret as middle names, but I am open to more ideas. Thanks so much! Nicole

I agree with pp. Lorena seems much smoother. Lenora is a little bit...medieval, almost.

My sister’s middle name is Lenore (le-nor)... Christa Lenore, so that’s why I prefer Lenora. Lorena is a nice name, but Lenora rolls of my tongue more easily. (I’m not as much of a fan of the "eee" sound in the middle of Lorena, which is how I’m pronouncing it.) As for the middle name, I’d prefer Violet of those two.

I much prefer Lenora. I think its much prettier sounding and it does roll off the tounge easier. Lenny and Nora are really cute nn’s for when she is little. I’m not keen on the reen sound in Lorena. (lo REEN ah)

Lorena seems more modern, while Lenora is a classic. I prefer Lenora because I love names that are a little bit old-fashioned. But both names are beautiful.
I would use either:
Lorena Violet nn Lor
Lenora Margaret nn Nora
I would use either:
Lorena Violet nn Lor
Lenora Margaret nn Nora

LENORA SEEMS OLD FASHIONED AND SORT OF WHINY SOMEHOW. I DON’T KNOW WHY?
