Clarinda ["beautiful, clear"]
Dorinda ["talented"]
Lucinda ["light"]

I like Miranda and don’t think it’s overused at all. But Melinda has a similar feel to me. Also Andrea.

In the US in 2010, Miranda was No# 175 (or just 1,755 girls). Is this overused to you? Compare the stats to the No# 1 girls name of Isabella or 22,731 girls. If you like Miranda then choose it would be my advice.

I haven’t heard of a single Miranda in 13 years. I think it’s beautiful and not at all overused.

I am named Miranda, and I like it because it is unique and pretty, I only know of one other person with my name.
