Middle names vs. for vs. Sally
So, I was watching a movie, and the little girl’s names was Sally. I decided that I really liked it. It is simple, but spunky. Old fashioned, but not too out there, or too "old", in my opinion. I know that many of you will not like the name, but, even if you do not care for it, I would like some middle name ideas. Maybe something more traditional or even modern? I don’t mind you sharing your opinions on the name, but keep in mind, I do think it can be done in a positive and not mean way.

I like Sally Brooke, Sally Johannah, and Sally Josephine. Thank you. I think I like it paired with a three syllable middle name best.

Sally Josephine would be a fine choice. I don’t think you want anything too terribly fancy sounding with the spunkier Sally. But you do want something quite feminine and with a vintage edge to it. And three syllables gives the name a nice flow.

My recommendation is a classic middle name.
For example ...
Sally Catherine
Sally Elizabeth
Sally Evelyn
Sally Genevieve
Sally Margaret

I do like Margaret and Catherine. Although Sally is old fashioned, I do not want to have two overly old fashioned names.

P.S.
If applicable, Sally [and] Molly would make a great sibset someday!

I think it sounds especially spunky with a one-syllable middle names, like some of those suggested above -- Jane, June, May, Rose ... or Anne ... :o) Good luck!

Thank you. Although I have some lovely names to work with, I am not sure I have found the one. I was also thinking of a double middle name, like Sally Evelyn Claire....

I like the spunk of Sally Jane, but want something more sophisticated. A longer middle name seems to have a better flow with our last name.
