Spenser is too snake-like--looks too "hissy"--like you will spit all over someone when you try to say it. I love Spencer, though!

I personally love the name Spencer! It’s hard to find other people who agree. I like it better spelled the way I have it above.

Spenser / Spencer. You get the same pronunciation with both, and it’s not hard to pronounce either way... Go with the spelling you prefer.

No it wouldn’t be a big deal. You might have to correct people, but almost everyone has that problem.

Don’t get so hung up on the spelling. The name itself is what matters. The more creative you try to get with spelling, the more you guarantee his name will be mispelled constantly. Even if it is spelled correctly, people will see the "s" and change it to a "c".

The only guy I know with the name spells his name Spenser. So Spenser is more common to me. haha. If I heard the name Spenser, I’d spell it with an S.
