Jonathan nn Johnny vs. wdyt?

I want to name my son Jonathan nn Johnny, the thing is, I like Jonathan without the "h" and Johnny with the "h". Is that okay? Or does is not make sense to add an "h" in the nn? But I don’t really like the spelling Johnathan or Jonny. WDYT?

Nicknames don’t have to make sence. Think about this- Nicholas nn Nick, Annabelle nn Annie, Isabelle nn Izzy, Gerard nn Jerry, Frank nn Frankie, Henry nn Hank
