Super Common vs. Names vs. WDYT?

My name is Kaia and I’m 24, so back when I was a kid the name Kaia was unheard of and very untraditional. I have no idea why my parents named me Kaia but I always hated having such an uncommon and unique name. I’m expecting a daughter and I already have a daughter and a son named Jack and Grace, which are both popular but (I think) age well and are not WAY too popular. I like the names Ava, Hannah, Addison and Emma for my daughter...are these too common? What do you think of the sibset? Can you think of any other common(but not too common) names I might like? thank you

My name is really common and I hate that about it. It is much better to be unique than to blend in with a hundred other people with the same overused name. I think all your picks are much too common, sorry. What about:

Eve/Eva
Anna
Ruby
Caroline
Amelia
Scarlett
Camille
Eliza
Adelaide

Out of the 4 you picked I like Emma & Hannah the best, but Emma is probably too popular, as where I think Hannah is not. But I don’t see Hannah aging as well as Emma. So your choice, I just prefer Emma & Hannah.

I like Eliza, but the rest are a little too out there for me. Interesting that you always want the opposite of what you have, lol. Thank you.

I love my name (Hannah). Its not to popular where I live, and I think it has grown with me. Jack, Grace, and Hannah make a great sub set. Hannah is not over popular and hasn’t been in the top ten for a while, but it has a lovely meaning and is great for a baby, toddler, teen, and adult!

I also like Caroline. gl!

Hannah is perfect with Jack and Grace, imo!

I’ve been struggling with this issue, too! These names are really popular for a reason. If you love one of them, use it. There’s no reason to go with a name that you don’t like as much just to be different. GL!
Suggestions
Eva, Evelyn, Avalon(instead of Ava)
Rebecca or Esther (instead of Hannah)
Emerson (instead of Addison)
Emilia, Amelia, Emiliana (instead of Emma)

I really like Emma and think it goes great with Jack and Grace. Some more you might like Danielle, Ella, Eliza, Sarah, Josie/Josephine, Lily, Kate, Alexandra, Lucy, Cassie/Cassandra. GL

Grace, Jack & Ava is my fav.
All 3 names have beautiful meanings: Grace means ’grace, a blessing from God’ & Jack means ’ God is gracious’. Ava means ’like a bird’ (Latin) or ’breath of life’ (English).

Of the names you are considering, I like Hannah and Ava the best. For your sibset, I prefer Hannah, but would also suggest Eva.

I felt the same way naming my boys but I didn’t want them to have a name that was overly popular I didn’t want my son to be one of 5 Liam’s in his class but I also wanted something that aged well, my hubby wanted gage, I loved it and then I thought I can’t see a 50 year old man named gage. My hubby then said the names that people are giving their kids these days gage will seem like the next Tim. We eventually named our son Owen but remember your name my have been different but now when you go out I’m sure you have heard it more and more :) best of luck on naming your little girl!

Ava, Hannah and Emma are nice names and go well with Jack and Grace. I’d eliminate Addison, though.
