lydia rose vs. lydia rose
My husband and I are due in May and it’s looking like Lydia is the name we’re going with. Rose will definitely be the middle name, even if we don’t go with Lydia. I just wanted to get other opinions on the name. Does anyone else think of the girl from Beetlejuice when they hear it? (Because I do!) Still, I think it’s a pretty name, not super popular but not totally uncommon, either. I think it will age well, too. Anyway, I’m just curious to see what others have to say about it. Thanks!

I love Lydia Rose... very pretty!
I DON’T think of Beetlejuice... it’s been so long since I’ve seen that movie!
I DO think of Lydia from the Bible... she worshiped God, and showed hospitality to Paul and Silas. I also think of the song "Lydia the Tattooed Lady" which was a Groucho Marx song, later made famous by The Muppets, and even sung at Jim Henson’s funeral.
Lydia is a great name... easy to read, easy to spell, very feminine and pretty. :)

Lydia Rose is a gorgeous and elegant name that will suit her very well at every age. (I have no associations that come to mind with the name.) Fabulous choice!!
