Hey which name do you think sounds better and less popular? I really love this name for my baby girl but I’m worried it is become quite popular! What do you think? Amilie is gonna be the least popular spelling (I think Amelie will be the most popular spelling) the spellcheck wanted to put smilie so that’s cute...plus Millie could be a nickname if you liked it (with the same spelling).

I pick Amelie. I don’t really care for making a perfectly nice name more "unique" by spelling it differently. After all, it’s the same name it just causes more trouble for the child when they need to spell it out for people all of the time. Amélie is the original spelling, and it’s the one I fell in love with.
At the end of the day, this is your baby though and your opinion is the only one that matters.
There’s also a ton of great nicknames: Ami, Mel, Melly, Millie, Elle, Ellie, Mia, Mimi, Lili etc. ♥ It’s a beautiful and elegant name.
