My name is dorthy and I want my daughters name to be Ski. Which one of these sounds and looks better. I dont want her name to be pronounced \"ski\", I want it to be pronouced \"sky.\" But I do not like the \"Y\" in the name. Please help, Thankyou(:

I would not look at ANY of those and pronounce it "Sky". You NEED the Y IMO.

To be honest I see Ski(ii,ie) and those all make the EE sound right off the bat, if you want the name the sound like Sky you may just have to give in and put the y in the name... like Sky or Skye. Unless you spell it like Schi. the ch making the K sound. Good Luck.

if you’re not using the Y your only option is Skie for that pronunciation as it’s an obsolete variant of the word

If you want it pronounced Sky, you will have to spell it Sky or Skye. Skye is actually a name, so I’d go with that.

either spell it Sky or Skye or do not use the name. none of your misspellings will be pronounced right. other names you might like
