I see it listed as unisex, but have NEVER heard it on a boy!! I LOVE the name on a girl as a first or middle name:

Girl’s name all the way!
Gage and Sage are similar in sound, and are boy’s names
just a thought

Lets just hope that some hapless idiot doesn’t try to make it a "unisex" name...Like so many boy names have been made "unisex" names. UGH. I agree with above.

Poster 3, (julie) Sage is also a \’unisex\’ name.

Paige is unisex in my opinion. But prefer it on a girl. Good Luck.

I think it works better as a girls name but I know of a boy called Paige and it suits him very well. I suppose when you hear a name on someone a few times you get used to it and dont think twice.

I think twice about it. Teagan on a boy? Yuck. I’ve always saw it as a girl name. I’m still in shock, and it was quite a few days ago I hear this. Paige? on a boy? YUCK. I’ll just have a boy and name him Megan. That kinda goes along the lines of "unisex". Logan, Ryan, Dylan, Jordan, etc. Give me a break.

Paige was indeed originally a masculine name. Eons ago. Probably no one today has ever heard of it for a boy. And I do like it for a girl. But this is an example of what I don’t like about girls beginning to use boys’ names. It starts out masculine, girls start using it and it becomes unisex. Then even more girls start using it and people begin to see it as feminine. And then it’s totally ruined for boys. And the pool of boy names shrinks a little more. There are countless examples of feminine names that started out this way. I don’t really care what people name their daughters. I just hate that boys end up losing in the process.

There was a boy on the X Factor in 2010 called Paige, but he spelled it as Paije, which I suppose makes it slightly more masculine. No one here buttered and eyelid at his name and he really suited it. :)

I know a guy spelled Page.

Paige is the feminine spelling. Page is usually the male spelling. So the name itself is unisex but just spelled differently for each gender.

Technically it may be a unisex name, but
I doubt many would ever use it on a boy these days!

I think it sounds fine for a boy and for people to say eww is a little dramatic. I think whatever you see your baby being is what you should name it so if you want it for a boy go for it.

Matt Damon’s middle name is Paige, I think its a great unisex name, its not a big deal :)

My name is Paige but I'm nonbinary and wanted to change my name but this website makes me want to keep it. So many people think it's a unisex name!
