Aivyn vs. Ayvin vs. Ayvn

Pronouced (Ai-ven) Trouble, trouble! I had to choose a name with so many spelling variations. I need help deciding which spelling is best for our baby girl. I want to stay away from any spelling that could be pronounced as Gavin without the ’G’ (Aven) and I also want to keep it simple. So I’ve chosen these 3. Which looks most like it sounds or is just the best in general? I’m open to suggestions as long as it doesn’t sound like Aven. Oh and Aiven looks to boyish to me.

What about Aevyn?

Aven is pronounced Ay-Ven, and is a beautiful Irish name. I would go with the original spelling. But if you insist on getting creative, Ayvin would be my pick.

Aven is pronounced ay-ven. I would never pronounce it as Gavin.
But if one of these, Ayvin is my pick.

Aven for sure. Avin would be like Gavin, not Aven. lol.

All of your options look terribly tryndeigh, which is very bad, imo.

Another vote for Aven. Simple is better.

I’ve researched the name Aven a lot and some say it gets pronounced wrong. I want to avoid that from the beginning.

You should do a new poll on Aven and ask what people assume it will be pronounced. Then you’ll get your answer. To be honest, the spellings you chose, I’d have no clue how to pronounce. Aven is easier. GL!

A spelling that doesn’t have a Y in it. It makes the name look "My mom is/was a teen" and makes it look made up.

My baby is just a couple of days from delivery. I have gone through a couple of thousand names on the internet and picked \"Ayvin\". So i must really like it :). My wife likes it too. Not sure about pronunciation, though I pronounce it \"Ay-veen\" (\"Ay\" as in \"aid\"). Correct me if I\’m wrong.

I would pick Avan as the way to spell it because it looks pretty cool!
