Middle Name vs. For Brooklyn (boy)?

My husband and I are having a baby boy in July, and we have decided on the name Brooklyn. Yes, we are aware that it is much more popular/well known as a girls name...but we are set on this name! We plan on using the nickname Brooks and Brookie Rookie (well, I am lol). Anyways, we need some help coming up with middle names for Brooklyn (if he truly hates his first name, we are fine with him using his middle name instead). Thanks!

No its fine, Brooklyn is a unisex name, just much more commonly used for girls. I love it for both genders. And the nicknames are great and very boy-ish! Also its a good idea to have a less unisex middle name in case he doesn’t like his first name.

Personally I think it’s still a-ok as a boy’s name, but if you’re concerned then maybe a strong masculine middle name? eg

I prefer Brooklyn on boys actually! So great name choice imo
