Eleanora vs. Nora

So my husband and I may actually agree on a first name! Nora. However, we’re unsure if we should just go with Nora or make it part of a longer name Eleanora and call her Nora and thus give her more options when she’s older. Thoughts? Also we need middle name suggestions. And if we go with the longer Eleanora it needs to be kind of short.

I would keep it Eleanor. Call her Ella, Elle, Ellie and even Nora.

Eleanor Alaine is pretty.

I think just Nora is fine. Its pretty, cute, and elegant without being stuffy.

I like Nora because it’s cute on a little girl and beautiful on a grown woman. My favorite middle names for Nora are Elise and Jean.
