Reece vs. Hallie/Halle vs. Lux

Thank you all SO much for being so nice and helpful. We decided to name our baby girl either Hallie, Lux, or Reece. (Spellings stay). just a reminder, I am 17 and we had our baby girl today! So she IS here in my boyfriend’s arms as I type. Please help us choose :)

Hallie is the prettiest and will age well. I don’t mind Reece but I hate the spelling and Lux is way to trendy.

Thanks everyone. We are calling her each name a few times to see which sounds right. and Hallie is really cute for her. But do you think it is just a nickname or can it stand on its own? Do you know any full names for the nickname Hallie?

I think it can stand on its own but you can always call her Haley and nn her Hallie. but remember Halle Berry is an actress so on its own is fine.

I love Lux too! But for some reason, it just doesn’t quite work....I don’t know what it is. I wish it did though! :(

I know a lovely 3 year old named Hallie and it suits her really well. Plus it’s not overly common

I like Hallyn as a full name for Hallie, or Hallie could be a fn on its own.

Reece is the best name! Hallie is just okay...if you want full names for Hallie, Helena and Helen would be beautiful and will age well.

Thanks everyone! Her name is Hallie! It fits her perfectly! Such a relief. we have some middle names we want to use but will post a poll in a while for that. I really want to hear some full names as an alternative for Hallie....does anyone have any???

Halina is an obscure Polish name that eventually connects to the Greek name Galen meaning calm.

Reece is adorable. Lux is just so strange to me, and Hallie is pretty, but I prefer Reece.
