Elliet vs. Elliette vs. Elliot
I love the name for a girl, you won’t change my mind on that... And kind of even like it being pronounced "ellie-ETTE". I’ve heard "Elliette" is a "REAL" French name-- different from Elliot... But I don’t want ppl to think I made up the spelling. What do you think? Elliet is kinda like "Juliet" spelling and looks less made up to me than Elliette, but more feminine than the traditional spelling.
The Top Baby Name is...

Are you French or do you live where there are lots of French speaking people? If your answer is no to both of those yes people will think you made it up, and since you are changing the spelling, you are indeed making it up.

Elliette is a real spelling of the name. So while I extremely dislike boys names for girls, this is definitely the best.
Good luck!!

I pronounce Elliot like ellie-ette (Im in australia, so dont know how much the accents say it differently) anyway so it is prob easier to keep the spelling people know.

FYI - Former French model Eliette Mouret became the wife of conductor Herbert von Karajan. Eliette is a LEGITIMATE French name and very pretty. Spell it with one l and two t’s and you won’t have to worry about something made up. GL.

if you’re going to name your girl a boy name, at least spell the name correctly. Elliot, Elliott or Eliot.

Well if you say Elliette super fast it sounds like Elliot. How about Aliette? It’s really similar but not quite the same as Elliot.
