Please don’t spell it weird. The poor child will never have anything that says her name on it, and people will ALWAYS spell it wrong. Go with your gut.

The spellings aren’t weird, some are common also. If you want to spell it differently, then do so. My favorite spelling is Rebecca with Rebekka as my second fave. But, she may have to go through life "My name is Rebekka, spelled with 2 k’s" GL

I definetly like the classic spelling better. As I have said to people before...as a teenager she may like it if her name were spelled a little more uniquely...however I am sure throughout her adult life...she will appreciate a classic name spelled normally.

I agree Rebecca is nice. I also like Rebekah. This is not a "weird" spelling. This is how it’s spelled in the bible.
