Jesse is the ’full name’...? It stands in its own right

Jesse is a full name for a boy, and a nick name for a girl spelt Jessie

I don’t get this whole nickname and full name business that goes on on here. Why is it so difficult to understand that just because some names have an ’ee’ noise on the end doesn’t make them a nickname

I have a friend named Jesse! I call him Jess? He likes it! Would work for both boy or girl?

Jesse doesn’t actually have a full name. It stands on its own. However, maybe these names could possibly become full names for Jesse:

Jeremy (usually the nickname is Jez or Jezza, but you could make Jesse work)
Jeremiah (same as previous)
Joshua (maybe??)
Jason (this could work)

Jeshua (like Joshua, but it could easily work for Jesse)
Jestin (like Justin)
Jessup (don’t know where it came from, but it’s ok!)
Jesus (wouldn’t work if your not Christian!)
Jesper (like Jasper, now this one is CUTE!)

Jesse is definitely a full name for a male. But, I guess it could be a nickname for names like Joseph maybe.
