Leila (Lee-La) Rose vs. Callie Isabella vs. Kelsey

We are leaning towards naming our baby Leila Rose but nobody seems too like it pronounced Lee-La. I know it’s our baby and we can name her want we want but I want a name people can pronounce too. I also recently found Callie and I kind of like the sound of that. I also like Kelsey but I’m not sure of a middle name.

I think if you like the name, you should spell it Leela so everyone else knows how to say it

I don’t see anyting wrong with Leila Rose, it’s pretty, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE the name Callie!

Love Callie Isabella, or what about Callie Rose, since you were going to use Rose anyway? I think Leila Rose is beautiful, but I have to admit, I would always naturally read that as "Lay-lah"

I love Leila Rose! It is beautiful! You need to go with your gut feeling! We had the same problem with my son. No one liked Damien, even my husband. I loved it, but people say mean things. We ended up with Dominik, and I am super thrilled. We are pg again, and noone will know my names this time. I have gotten some good & bad advice from here, but I love the name and only my husband and I can cgange that! Leila Rose sounds like a potential model, actress or ballerina. Very exotic (in a good way) and beautiful!!

anyone who doesn’t pronounce it Lee-la will just have to learn. Even Callie could be cal-y or kay-le. I think every name has another pronunciation, and someone will mess it up. No big deal though!!
