Aurora and Bella vs. Aurora and Ariana vs. Aurora and Isabella

I’m expecting g/g twins and we are having a hard time choosing their names. I love Aurora and Bella, but my husband says it’s too disney-princess like. He wants to name them Aurora and Ariana but I don’t like names having the same initals, and I think they are too much alike. Aurora and Isabella (with the nn Bella) is another alternative, but we don’t love Isabella. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

You could use a different name with the nickname Bella, if you like one better than Isabella.

I prefer Aurelia to Aurora: Aurelia & Ariana sounds better to me.

But if your stuck on Aurora, here are a few:

Aurora & Anabella
Aurora & Isabella

I would just stay away from Bella type name. With the super popularity of the name Isabella, your daughter could end up being Bella or Isabella #4 or 5 in her class.

I also like Aurora & Michaela.

I voted for Aurora and Isabella because I think that sound best together. I do slightly agree with you about the matching initials. Some more ideas with Bella as a nickname:

Mirabel/Mirabella
Christabel
Claribel
Rosabel
Maribel/Maribella
Arabel/Arabella

You could also use Belle or Bella as a middle name, if your husband thinks its too princessy.

Aurora and Maribella. Rory and Bella OR Rory and Mary. Isabella is too popular.
