I love the name Shea for a girl! I pronounce Shai as shy, which is cute for a boy.

One of the people who polls here is named Shayla and I love her name. You could use Shayla and use the nickname of Shay. I also like the Shae spelling. If it were short for something, I would expect it to be Shaelyn.

I love the name Shae spelled this way. It is a beautiful name and does not need a longer version, just Shae.

I think this name is able to stand on its own. I love the Spelling Shae. Spell it Shae or Shay. Not Shai because people could mispronounce it as "shy" and people could mispronounce Shea as "shay-ah"
