I LOVE Rohan- but maybe it’s just because LOTR is perhaps the nearest and dearest thing to my heart in terms of anything. I don’t have children, but I’m planning on using LOTR names for them when I do. If I met a child named Rohan I would immediately congratulate the parents on their excellent taste. Love it. GL!

The spelling of Rohan will definitely not be pronounced the way you are hoping. Rohan and Rowan are two completely different names with different meanings, from two completely different origins; Rohan being sanskrit and Rowan being gaelic. This is why it would be likely mispronounced and confusing for others. I would suggest the spelling Rowan, as it will be pronounced as you like and I prefer this spelling over Rowen. Hope this helps!
