Same pattern vs. New pattern vs. Boy name ending in -een?
Are there any boy names that end in -een? We have 5 girls named Kathleen (Kat), Laureen (Laurie), Jolene (Jo), Kristine (Kristy) and Eileen (Eila) and we’re not sure whether to continue the pattern or not. I’m sure I could come up with some girl names that fit the pattern, but boy names? Are there any? Please comment and give suggestions! Thanks!

The only one that comes to mind is Eugene.
What about names that just end with an N sound. Would that be close enough?

Hm...I like Dean, but it might be a bit short, since the girls all have nicknames and don’t generally use the "een" part of their names. Although, I guess then it might work, since it won’t rhyme with their nicknames. Hm...
Any other suggestions?

Thanks for all the comments. I guess there really aren’t any that sound good. So I guess that means we can start a new pattern!
So that brings me to my second question. If it’s a girl, should we stick to the pattern? This baby (and any future babies) will be half-siblings to our 5 girls. I don’t know if this makes it more or less important to stick to the same pattern. We could really use some input. Thanks again!
