I love it for a girl...Shay is one of my favorite names. If you spell it Shay it it will always be pn correctly.

I have heard it on boy and girl both, girl spelling Shay and boy Shea. Go with Shay!

It’s an okay name but I think it goes better as a nickname. The spelling of Shea is best as it is the original one, and you should never have to worry about either of your spellings being mispronounced. Shea is a very common name.
