Lux vs. Luxe vs. Other

We like the name Lux for our baby girl but are unsure for spelling. We are leaning towards "Lux" but still haven’t decided. Please give middle name. Suggestions or other l first names if you are not a fan. Thanks !

Sounds like a boys name or a stripper name IMO. How about Aurelia instead for a "golden" name for your baby girl?

Lux will work depending on what sort of family your are. A friend of mine at school really suited this name but I can imagine a few girls not being able to pull it off.

We are not a fan of the one for gold. It is not do much the meaning of the word like shiny and bright that we like we love the sound of it. And the meaning is fine though

As the poll maker said, they don’t love the name for the meaning but for how it sounds. I like it, don’t love it. If you want to use it, use it.

I think what the poster several up is trying to say is that it depends on your socio-economic status and where you live. A girl coming from a wealthy family named Lux is trendy and unique. If you’re a little more on the lower middle cl[removed]ide it could come off as trashy. Same for place. If you live in a super trendy/hipster part of the city or you are hipster/indie sort of people it works. If however, you come from the burbs or live in a small town maybe not so much. No matter how nice a name sounds, you should take into consideration how the name is perceived as well.
