What do you think vs. Of the name Dior?

Now I know about the Dior brand but I love the sound and unlike many of my other favorite names this one won’t have a pronouncation problem. There are kiss named Chanel, Bentley and Mercedes. Also it is not the worst brand to share a name with not like being named Arby. What do you think? Is it usable?

I think it would work, it might be best as a middle name, but if you are set on it as a first name or already have a middle name, then I think you should go for it! :)

I like it but think it would be hard for any youngster to learn to spell and say.

I don’t think all brand names are bad but I do not like any that you have mentioned.

You know what ... I think it’s cool but not crazy. Do it.

Dior was a name before it was a brand. Nothing wrong with it being a name again.

I like it. And it is a surname too, you know, and it has become increasingly common to give babies surname first/middle names even if it is not in your family. I think it is a very cute, unique name that is not crazy like Nevaeh or Embreigh. Dior Joseph or Dior Nathaniel would be very handsome. GL

Thank you I don’t know if we will use it but it is absolutely going on our short list. Middle names?

Using any brand name is tacky, Arby, Dior, Chanel, Armani, Bently... names from the trailer park

It’s definitely better than many other names I hear, it’s not bad at all. Middle name ideas:

Dior Mina
Dior Alice
Dior Serenity
Dior Veronica
Dior Jessica

good luck! :)

It kills me when ignoramuses link NAMES to what their limited uneducated minds associate the given word with. For example, my daughter's name is Aspen. Whenever anyone says "oh!- like Aspen Colorado?!" I immediately know they're a moron. Yes it is a city, however the city was named for the beautiful Aspen trees which flourish there. My daughter is names for the most beautiful think I could picture at the moment I named her, a lone delicate Aspen tree amongst massive oaks and maples in the middle of the woods I would hike and meditate in. Dior, my second daughter's middle name means "Golden" in French. Yes, it also happens to be the name of a prolific high end designer, it doesn't mean I named her for him! In fact, the reason is much, much deeper and greatly meaningful to us. With that said, what are YOUR kids' names, Sophia and Aiden? .....Snore.....
