Eugenie vs. Eugenia

Hi. I’m Elizabeth Clark. My husband is Korean-American. He named our daughter, YOO-JIn, which is her korean name. So he wants to name our daughter between Eugenie and Eugenia. I am worried if it sounds too old or less charming among little girls thesedays. But we decide to name her between these two. Please recommand us a middle name!(we are not gonna put Korean name on her name tho..) I want it to be short, creative and UNIQUE. Thanx

Eugenia Marie. My name is Jean Marie and I was named after my grandmother Eugenie. I’ve never liked my name and I’ve never met another Jean growing up but everyone always tells me they like it. My husband even wanted to name our daughter after me. GL!

I think Eugenia is really pretty, and it fits in with today’s trend of using old fashioned names... but it has the advantage of being an uncommon one so she will be unique! I agree with the nickname suggestion of Gigi.. You could also go with Nia if you use Eugenia.
