find a new name. Wait until your next son.

Do you like the name Adam? I love that name :)

My brother’s name is Aric. He doesn’t care for it, so I’d suggest a different name if possible unless you really love one of these spellings.

Alaric sounds like Eric. But I wouldn’t use your other spellings, it’s a little too confusing.

Sadly Aric/Aeric will get misspelled so many times! You can always wait to use it for another son, or use it as his middle name.

Maybe:
Aiden
Axel
Abel
Asher
Archer
Archie
Atticus
Albert
Alfred
Arthur
Alfie
Abraham
Arlo
Alistair
Asmund
August
Anders
Anton

I hope you like some of these!

Aric looks better to me; I do like the Alistair (or Alasdair) suggestion above as well.

I like Aric as a spelling. It adds some uniqueness to the name. Nothing wrong with it.

Aric/Arik is cool - as long as you pronounce it ah-ric! If you are going to pronounce it Eric then name spell it Eric/Erik.

Love the name Eric but only spelled this way.
Anderson?
Andrew?

I love both of your suggested spellings. They’re unique and cute...way better for him to have his own, unique name than a generic/common one.
