Spell it Adalie. All of the spellings you have look messy

To me Adalie is ad-uh-lee not lie. Lie as in the end of Lorelei ( lie as in to not tell the truth)

If you pronounce it Ad-uh-lie then that’s how her name will be said despite the spelling you choose. My daughter is Elena but we say it as Elle-Len-ah (3 syllables) not Ellen-ah (2syllables) like most people assume - there was just no "right" way to spell it to get the pronunciation we wanted but it hasn’t been a problem.

Adalie....or go with Adalyn Leah and call her Adalie or Adalay as a nn...works with both.

No offense but I’m not spelling it Adalie. I live in the US and I will always be correcting it. We live the sound of Ad-uh-lye. Like Lorelei, please just tell us the best spelling for the sound we want. Thank you

I think it was unclear that you wanted it to be pronounced Ad-uh-lye, since you spelled it -lie in the description, and usually that’s pronounced -lee. I can see why you’re struggling with the spelling! I like Adalei the best out of your choices, and I think it is the most likely to be pronounced correctly if the person is actually reading and not just skimming. Good luck!

Sorry, didn’t understand your post. I’d spell it Adalei, then.

Thank you. I was leaning towards that one, but wanted a second opinion. :)

Maybe Adelei instead? I looked at those names forever before I read your post and then figured out it was for a girl! All I could think of was Adlai Stevenson ... doh!
