Ashlyn & Breann vs. Too toddlers and tiaras themed???

Hi! I have twins on the way and we’re thinking of naming them Ashlyn & Breann. The problem is, we did some reserch and it turns out that there was a set of twins called AshLynn & BreAnne who were on Toddlers and Tiaras and were very contriversial. I was wondering, would I get weird looks if I named my twins Ashlyn & Breann? If I used them, they would be spelled the way I listed above. Thanks!-Amanda, Hank, Son Alex [8], and daughters Cora [5] and Noelle [2]

Pretty toddlers and tiaras to me. Plus, Ashlyn and breann don’t match your kids names at all. More simple, pretty choices like Violet, Paige, Julia and Jacqueline would go better with your current kids.

Agree with first poster. Ashlyn and Breann are totally out of character with your with children’s names. I also think they are too trendy and won’t age well. But that’s my opinion.

I’m sorry, but we really don’t care too deeply about "sibsets". All I’m asking is if it’s too Toddlers-and-Tiaras. No offence to anyone. But thanks!

I named my daughter from a soap opera. Most people named their baby from a movie, show, actress, singer... Besides, ten years from now who will know it?

I don’t watch the show, but if you’re worried you could spell the names differently, like Aislinn and Brianne.

I dont watch the show so would never make the connection. also agree with poster 4 that in a few years the t&t connection would be completely forgotten

i know you said the spelling is set but i absolutely LOVE the proper Irish way of spelling Ashlyn "Aislyn"

Also I think the names sound fine with your other children’s names.

I agree with poster #1.

Usually when people have their 1st kids they use trendier names and as they mature they start choosing more classic names. You’re doing it backwards. Ashlyn and Breann sound like teen mom names.

I’m sorry, but we will not change the spelling of Ashlyn. Aislyn is pretty, but we don’t want her to spend her whole life correcting people. But thanks for the idea
