Hello. This is my first pregnancy. It took a long time to pick a first name. I chose Callista because it means most beautiful in Greek. I picked the nickname Calla because it also means beautiful. Now I need help deciding on a middle name. Suggestions Welcome.

I love the name you chose, lol! It’s my name! My real name is Callista, but everyone calls me Calla. Not many people call me Callista, but it’s nice to have a full name for job interviews, ect. My middle name is Belle, (Callista Belle) but Penelope sounds great with Callista (Calla) I voted for Hanelle, because it flows the best and its a beautiful name. GL!

To our poster, Callista is lovely! Callista Susanne got my vote since it’s like calling her "Calla Lily" without being too corny (Susanne means "Lily" to those who don’t know). I like names that have meaning and this one chalk full of it. GL! =)

A little Rude aren’t WE? Just because she wants a name that means something nice, doesn’t mean shes vain. We all think are children are beautiful, and if she wants a name that reflects that, its because she loves her child, but the name of her daughter has no reflection of herself, so please stop being rude and actually help.

callista nn calla is fabulous. and i love the meaning, i don’t understand some people on this site, not vain at all! it is a fabulous :) callista is not used nearly enough, is suitable for a girl, and ages well, nn calla is also great. neither are cutesy or trendy, and i love that. susanne definitely flows the best. evania is pretty but with beginning in a vowel and callista ending in a vowel, the names mesh, and i never have been fond of the flow with both names ending in a similar sound, thus the a sound. hanelle is not really my favorite name i’m afraid, just doesn’t really catch my fancy. callista susanne is wonderfufl.. great work, especially for your first child heehee :)

Callista Susanne works best. I don’t care for Evania or Hanelle and they sound kind of fussy with Callista.
