Ember is cute. Just enough spunk to make it unique, but just normal enough that people can pronounce/spell it and won’t say it’s weird.
Emery I’ve known to be a boys name, although I guess I can see it working on a girl. But Emarie looks like E Marie.

Emery is too masculine and too much like an Emery board. Ember has a bad meaning (fire embers) so I would maybe go with Eva-Marie instead of Emarie. Or how about Emilia?

Ember is cute! I almost used it for my daughter, but my niece is Emily and we thought it’d be too close. My husband originally suggested Ashley nn Ash, but I didn’t like the idea of ash (like grey dust), so I said something like ’it should be more lively, like embers glowing *before* they become ash) and so Ember got on our list. I kind of wish we’d used it now, since my niece Emily goes by EV (her initials) to distinguish her from the other Emily’s.
