The Russian names that end in -vich/-vitch are called patronymics. Russian children’s middle names are their father’s first name plus -ovitch (for a boy) or -ovna (for a girl). So theoretically any male name can end in -vitch.

If you are the father (and if your name is Jacob, which I assume from Jake), then here are some naming examples:

Dimitri Jacobovich
Vladamir Jacobovich
Anatoly Jacobovich
Andrey Jacobovich
Aleksey Jacobovich
Vadim Jacobovich
Ivan Jacobovich
Sergei Jacobovich
Yuri Jacobovich
Anton Jacobovich
Mikhail Jacobovich

If you have a simple name like Jake, don’t you think your son should, too?

Have you considered using a Russian name as a middle name only?

it was only for the middle name just didn’t put it in the statement but was going to use the Russian with the vich part (to carry on the family tradition that my great uncles had with their children)
