I am having a baby in November and I don’t know the sex yet. My father passed away last July and his nickname was Blue. Well, it was more of a name...everyone called him it. I want to use it as a middle name, but how should I spell it? Should I spell it differently if its a girl? Help!

I think you should just own it and spell it "blue" because i’d bet that would be how your father would have written it.

Presumably your father spelled it Blue since you typed it that way when talking about him. I would spell it Blue whether it’s a boy or a girl.
