Pronunciation vs. of vs. Kyan

I downloaded an app on my tablet for baby names and I was looking at different names and meaning. I happen to come across the name Kyan and its meaning is little king. I was wondering how you would pronounce it. I pronounce it Ky-yen. Could you suggest more names please and thank you. -Keyla

It looks like Ky-ann to me.

I believe Kyan is a different spelling of Cian (also there is Cyan and Kian) and it’s pronounced Key-ahn. It’s Irish or Caelic.

Kyan sounds like Ryan (Kai-an)

We named our son Kyan (born in 2009). People pronounce it all sorts of ways, but we spelled it with a "y" to have it sound like Ryan. We did that in part so that he could easily shorten it to "Ky" (sounding like the name "Kai") if he ever wanted a nickname. Despite our choice of spelling/pronunciation, we still have plenty of people giving it the Irish pronunciation of "Kee-an" (Cian). Still love the name.
