What do you think of the name Cataleya for a Girl? We like uncommon names, but not too unusual and weird. We came across Cataleya and we really like it.

I think it looks made up, I prefer Catalina its more classy and is the Spanish equivalent of Catherine.

Ok, I love Orchids. Cataleya. Love it!
Cataleya Jane, Reese, Blair, Simone, Monique, Lisette, Fleur, etc.
Pretty and unusual. Go for it!

Thanks :) I love the name too, we considered Catalina, because my side of the Family is Spanish, but we didn’t like it.

That’s so interesting. I just met a woman at the gym and her daughters name is Adaleya. Never heard of it! So Cataleya doesn’t sound too far fetched to me. I say use it!

I absolutely love the name Cataleya.
I came across it while watching Colombiana and I fell in love with the name. I’m definitely going to consider it when I get pregnant in the future <3

I absolutely love it, I also fell in love with it from the movie Colombians to later find out it’s my birth month orchid (October ) having a baby girl in July. It’s the e’er perfect middle name for my baby Girl.. Rhaiza Cataleya. This is late but hoping you went for it. Strong, beautiful one !

I love the name cataleya I’ve just had a baby girl a week ago & I’m considering naming her that but spelt differently -Kataleia.
