Baby Name Poll Results

You posted the poll four times. Once is enough. And seriously, what’s with all the weird names and nursery themes? People who name their kids "Funelle Ronshon" aren’t going to be able to AFFORD a Louis Vitton-themed nursery. And besides, who would WANT that?

I hired a namer to help me choose these names. I can afford them...my husband makes six figures...don’t be jealous because you can’t afford one, guest. :]

Actually, yes, I can afford one. My husband makes seven figures, and I make six. We have two sons named François Christophe and Johan Étienne. Just because I chose not to give out my name, doesn’t mean that you have to be rude.

No, we don’t spoil our sons, and yes, we both really do make that much. Just because we can afford to, doesn’t mean we do. They both get disciplined like any other child, and they are not stuck up. They go to school, play with their friends, and have bedtimes just like any other child. They aren’t allowed to watch television and they are not allowed on the computer until they are five years old. My husband and I play with them almost all the time. François goes to the best school we could get him into, which is one of the best schools in the state, and Johan will go there as well when he starts school.

OK, here is my suggestion: The names in the poll are very unique. If you like them, go for them. I don’t think the amount of money anybody here has is relevant. As far as the names, they are not my style, but I will suggest alternative names. As far as the nursery goes, I say neither, because none of the patterns in these lines (as much as I like them) aren’t very baby-friendly, IMO. A nice neutral colored nursery with a few accents from either line would be nice.
