Thoughts on the name vs. Brady being a nickname for vs. Bradley.
My husband and I love the name Brady but have felt for a while that it doesn’t feel "full" enough as is for a first name. My father-in-law recently passed away, and we are also considering naming our son after him; his name was Bradley. Could Brady be a nickname for Bradley? What do you think?

I think it can! After all, Jack was originally a nickname for John, Sadie for Sarah, Ted for Edward, etc. and Brady is much closer to Bradley than any of those!

I suppose anything can be called a nickname. To me, the names Brady and Bradley give off a very different "feel". Brady is trendy and almost preppy sounding whereas Bradley, to me, comes across as much stronger and more masculine.
