Some people are also familiar with it due to LOTR, it means "noble maiden" in Tolkein’s invented elvish language. Arwen is a female name, Arwnyn/Arvin/Arwin are male names. Finally, if anyone is certain of the correct Welsh pronunciation of Arwenna, we would love to know! Thank you all so much!
