Maybe give her a southern or country name because it started out in Kansas?
Maybe Emily, after Auntie Em.

Thanks! I like Kandace and Ruby! I like Emily too but I think it’s too popular

Judy (Judy Garland, the one who played Dorothy in the 1939 adaption)
Laurel (a synonym for garland)
Morgan (after Jack Morgan, who played the Wizard and other characters in the 1939 adaption)
Raina (a spin on "Over the Rainbow")
Gale/Gail (Dorothy’s last name is Gale)
Billie, or maybe Sybilla nickname Billie (Billie Burke played Glinda the Good Witch in the 1939 adaption)
Maud/Maude (Maud was the wife of L. Frank Baum, author of The Wonderful Wizard of Oz)
Esme/Esmeralda (means "emerald", ala the Emerald City)
Like any? :-)

Ooh that’s a great idea. How about Theodora (an anagram of Dorothea and a character from the new Oz movie)? Her middle name could by Gale or Emerald, but my favorite choice is Theodora Judie (a more modern version of Judy Garland’s name). Good luck!

Emma Ruby (Aunt Em, ruby slippers)
Iris Gale (Iris means "rainbow")
Jade Esmeralda (really playing up the color of the emerald city)
Ariel (means "lionlike")
Though I hate this name, Poppy has become quite popular. I do love the lovely flowers, though. :)
