Lissa vs. other

I would love to give my daughter an African first name or middle name. I spent five years teaching English in Gambia and up until motherhood was the most special experience of my life. When I decided to leave due to pregnancy, a little girl in my cl[removed]uggested a few names if it was a girl. Lissa was one of them and is a supreme goddess. What do you think of this name for a first/middle name? Any other suggestions? Thanks~ Kay

I like it, it’s definitely suited for an American girl. I’d use it.
