Elimination vs. Poll

I don’t need any more suggestions (though I guess they never hurt). I don’t have many names to eliminate from. I have been struggling with this for days now and I am due this summer. I’ll post the names in the first comment. I am really edgy lately so it doesn’t surprise me that I am having a hard time picking the perfect name to go both with Cora (a name my fiance loved) and Jacklyn/Jacqueline (his name Jack). He died when we found out we were pregnant. I guess part of why it’s so difficult is I don’t want to name her without him. (names in first comment)

Cora Rose and Cora Grace have too much R sound. I would Eliminate both.
Cora Mae Jacklyn has the best flow.

My favorite is Cora Mae Jacqueline.This is really pretty!

My least favorite option would be Cora Rose Jacklyn because I think the R sounds in Cora Rose run together a bit and because I definitely prefer the Jacqueline spelling.

I like Cora Anne Jacqueline. Sorry for your loss. I’m sure your finance will be proud whatever name combination you pick and most of all will want you and the child to be happy. GL!

Basically, I like Cora Mae best. I do, however, prefer May to Mae. I think it looks a little more elegant. And I prefer Jacqueline to Jacklyn.

I’m probably the only one who doesn’t like the name Cora. I had a great aunt with this name and from the time I could remember, she was ancient and a little bit scary. The name sounds harsh to me. So, since it’s an elimination poll, I’d eliminate the first name Cora and work with what’s left. My favorite would be Grace Jacqueline (Jacklyn looks a bit tacky), followed by Rose Jacqueline.

Cora Leigh Jacklyn would flow slightly better. Of your options, Cora Mae Jacklyn. And to counter the pp’s comment, I think if you’re pronouncing it JACK-lyn, then spelling it Jacklyn (or Jaclyn) is the right way to go, as Jacqueline is actually zhak-LEEN.

Im not a fan of Cora but I understand y u want to use Cora.my vote is Cora Mae Jacqueline.
