Middle Name vs. for vs. Thatcher

Hubby and I are all about names that are uncommon but aren’t "weird" or made up. We’ve decided to go with Thatcher, but now he needs a middle name and it must start with a J for family reasons. We like James, but it’s too common and a bit plain. We need a middle name that starts with J, sounds good with Thatcher and maybe a bit unique. Any suggestions?

Nothing sounds good with thatcher, there are better occupations to name your kid after including Tanner

Thatcher James is nice in my opinion but here are some ideas for you:
Thatcher Jude, Thatcher Jeremiah, Thatcher Jerome, Thatcher Jacques, Thatcher Jakob
I like Thatcher Jacques, very elegant and unique.

Thatcher James does sound great, but Thatcher Jaden and Thatcher Jackson sound good too and are less common.

hm...not really liking Thatcher. It’s on the list of what I’d consider weird (although, I consider Hunter a weird thing to name your child and look how many people used it anyway...)

Thatcher James does flow, but to me it sounds like a man from medieval times. Like Blacksmith Paul, Friar Percy and Thatcher James.

Thatcher is perfectly fine =) And Thatcher James isn’t a bad option, but I completely understand it being too common!
