I love both. If you are in the states, I would go with Oliver or else you’ll be correcting people everyday.

Je m’avère justement aimer la prononciation française, mais je dois être d’accord avec les �ères personnes d’affiche… dans les états l’appellerai très probablement Oliver indépendamment de la façon dont elle a orthographié, ainsi je me sauverais l’ennui et irais juste avec Oliver.


I happen to love the french pronunciation, but I have to agree with the 1st poster...people in the states will most likely call him Oliver regardless of how it’s spelled, so I would save myself the trouble and just go with Oliver.
