James vs. Jayms vs. Jaymes
I like the name James for a girl. Don’t say I’m crazy. I was thinking of spelling it Jayms or Jaymes to make it look girlier. Do you think I should do that or just spell it James? Her full name will be James Annabelle Parker or James Isabel Parker.

No. I’m sorry. I don’t think you’re crazy, but a girl with the name James is going to be teased. This name sets your beautiful girl up for laughs before anyone even gets to know her. Don’t do that to your child. Name her Jamie.

James or Jaimes. The others arent correct looking, they just look trendy, changing the letters around doesnt make it any girlier.... Its still James.. nothing girly about it. I like James Annabelle Parker.

Think of how the boys arent going to shun her for having a man’s name! No man wants to be married to a woman who sounds like a man. He will sound like hes of other orientation... Think of the confusing wedding invites for the wedding of James and Matthew! I dont see the appeal of wanting to do that to my daughter. If you truly love it though please dont mispell it, thats truly the worst you can do. Spell it traditionally and use Annabelle Parker. GL

I have to be honest, if I met a little girl called James I would assume that her parents had wanted a boy and had been so disappointed with a girl that they hadn’t bothered changing their name choice. It’s just so recognised and widely used as a man’s name. Jaime Annabel Parker would be a great choice.

Yes id definitely name her Lola its a nice name and feminine. James is really terrible for a girl its very masculine and there is no feminine spelling for it.

Who cares whT others think it\’s your child. Don\’t let the others deter you from what you like. It\’s unique, kids are going to make fun of others regardless my first name is super common n I got poked at too. When I have a baby, if I do, Annabelle Jaimes is my front runner. I love James for a girl. I have a student whose middle name is Jaymes also.
